Will I need to complete blood tests prior to starting the medication?
A pathology test may be requested to help your healthcare practitioner monitor any pre-existing or developing health conditions. This will enable them to best manage your treatment moving forward. You can get your blood test at your local pathology clinic. It’s covered if you have Medicare, so there are no out-of-pocket costs.
What if I completed blood tests recently?
If you have had blood tests done within the last 3 months that cover the tests requested by your Juniper practitioner, please send us a message and attach your recent results here, and we will pass these on to your practitioner.
If these results are deemed sufficient by your Juniper practitioner, you will not need to get the requested blood test done.
